Winn-Dixie Local Holiday Recipes and Flavors: Recipes to Impress E-Cookbook #WDLocalHoliday

The Christmas holidays is a special time that we enjoy the family and all the trimming. It is a time that all the family does much more sharing, caring and eating. Each family would make a special dish that they like to share and reminisce about the good old days with the whole family as a child.

Each family has a special dish that the Spaniards would make on special occasions such as the Christmas Eve meal. This is a seafood dish that called salpicon. Most of the family except for the vegetarians enjoy this meal immensely. It is yummy, yummy good!

Ingredients:
1 lb potatoes
1 lb shrimp
1/2 lb crab
1 small onions (optional)
6 boiled eggs
1 bottle olives
1 small red sweetpepper
1 large lemon
4 Tbsp olive oil

Method:
Boiled eggs and potatoes and leave to chill. Cut the potatoes in thin slices as well as the eggs to use later. I scald or saute the shrimp for a couple minutes til it is cooked. At Winn-Dixie you can find imitation or real crab in a can (it depends on the individual.) Cut the onion finely. and sliced the red pepper thinly. I normally mixed my sauce (lemon and olive oil) and pour in a bowl that has all the other ingredients and stir once. I place the thinly red sweetpepper and eggs on top as decorations. I leave in the refrigerator to chill until it is meal time.

Ingredientes:

1 libra de patatas
1 libra de camarones
1/2 libra cangrejo
1 cebolla pequeña (opcional)
6 huevos hervidos
1 botella aceitunas
1  chile dulce rojo puqueña
1  lemon grande
4 Tbsp aciete olive

Methodo:
