Fabulous Gift: ANiMALZ Headphone #ChristmasGuide2014

Hello one and all,

Are you all enjoying the shopping for the children at this time of the year? Have you been shopping
at the mall? I know many are online doing most of their their holiday shopping. It sure will save lots
of time for most parents.

I received the most practical gift which most children uses daily with their electronic games or toys. The ANiMALZ headphones by Retrak  are lovely gifts as it can be used for many reasons and changes our family environment. Our family will be picking up some family members for the Christmas holidays which means we will be on a long family road trip. It sure will be a rather peaceful ride as the parents will be able to listen casually  to our musical preference while the little ones are watching movies or listening to their dvds of their choices. We will now have many interesting rides and more smiling faces when we have some casual discussion instead of heated disagreements.  At home there is a bit more personal time listening to music or playing games, just lovely.

 Collect all six.
What I enjoy about this headphone is that it have Volume-Limiting Technology; 85 db protects young ears and has an Over-Ear Design whereby nothing enters the ear canal  which is important for our younger generation. In addition, it contains Tangle-Free Storage that pull cable to extend and retract and is Kid-Friendly Design and Durability. What is greatly appreciated is it has Lifetime Warranty and is a great gift for children Ages: 3 and over.

Neil Diamond's #MelodyRoad Album in Stores! #O2O

Disclosure: I participated in the Neil Diamond Melody Road album review program as a member of One2One Network. I was provided a free album to review but all opinions are my own.

Hope you are all doing well and looking forward to the weekend. Well, it has been a while we have not  been listening to any music in particular. My musical family enjoys singing and playing music. We have been fortunate to joined the Neil Diamond Melody Road Album Review Campaign and appreciate some beautiful songs.

We certainly look forward to our daily entertainment of the day to relax and enjoy some pleasant music. We have been blessed with a couple musicians and singers in our home, we know that all is well when we hear singing and music, this is something that we enjoyed since a toddler.

We have always enjoyed Neil Diamond songs, we have laughed, cried and danced to them all. We thought it would be awesome to hear his latest. My little tween critic does not know Neil Diamond and commented without asking about him.  She said that listening to the music, Neil Diamond is in love and is sharing his experience and his emotions with his audience. She also said the music is uplifting and spiritual.

I enjoy all his music but I may be bias as I love Neil Diamond's music and songs. I thoroughly enjoy the fast beat dancing pace of "Sunny Disposition" and "Marry Me Now", This sure made me remember my uncle with whom I have danced many paces (RIP). Meanwhile, "The Art of Love" brought to mind Neil's great 1972 hit single "Play Me".

This album is really good stuff, he has touched the hearts of many generations and knows how to relates to the generation Z (my tween). Neil Diamond classic songs are filled with the passion and committed to his art, in a warmly distinctive voice. What makes this a marvelous album is Neil Diamond is both singer/songwriter!

Sesame Street: Monster Manners DVD Review & Giveaway!

This post may contain affiliate links. Please read the Privacy and Disclosures statements.

Do you remember watching Sesame Street? Do you still look at it? Well, to be honest we do get to see it not as much as we did every day but we do get to see it. We do like the lessons that are portrayed on Sesame Street so we do enjoy them just as much as the children.

Sesame Street is one of the most liked in our home as it is age appropriate and every show has a morale or a lesson for the kids to learn. Sesame Street recently presented Alphabet Songs and had the children learning while singing. Sesame Workshop have just released a DVD entitled: Sesame Street: Monster Manners. It is amazing how it is portrayed for the children to understand easily: manners.

It is always amazing to see how the children learn how to take turns, sharing and saying please. We all know that there is one important factor that takes us around the world: manners. I am so proud to hear the little ones with manners and showing respect to others. It does show that the home training is very effective. It makes me emotional to see a young child using his/her table manners and sharing with his/her peers. Isn't it nice to see them walking nicely in a queue and not pushing each other. It shows what they see on tv is quite as effective as what is seen in their daily lives. Thanks to Sesame Street for those really needed topics.

It is great to see that how Cookie Monster is able to show us some table manners but would he be able to join the prestigious club and control his eating habits? You've got to see the DVD to know that answer. There were several guest stars such as: David Hyde Pierce, Cobie Smulders, Henry Cavill, Zach Efron, Colbie Caillat, Common and Mark Ruffalo. It is always great to see the characters of Sesame Street show these much need skills portraying manners and respect for the individual.

This release also features bonus classic material and are available on DVD and digital June 10, 2014 for $14.98 / $9.99 SRP.  Join us and enjoy this new release of Sesame Street: Monster Manners!

Guess what?
One of Emy Cooks readers has the pleasure of winning a Carmex® package of three limited edition line of lip balm!

Adivina Que?

Ten days of Adventure and Fun with #DisneyJuniorFamilia @DisneyJuniorUSA #ad

This is part of a sponsored collaboration with Latina Mom Bloggers and Disney Junior.
However, all opinions expressed are my own.

It has been a really fabulous ten days of fun and adventure with #DisneyJuniorFamilia. My family grew up with Mickey and Minnie and as time went by Jake and Sofia came along. With each addition to the #DisneyJuniorFamila there is memories with laughter going along. It seems they have been a part of our familia forever. My favorite has always been Mickey and Minnie! What is your favorite character? I can remember the first time the little one saw Mickey, she cried and since then we have not been to Disney. We certainly are looking forward to seeing Mickey and Minnie an the others sometime soon. Here we found some baby toys and there was some memorable moments created with Minnie, and Doc McStuffin friends: Lambie and Stuffy.

These past ten days has recreated some rather fun-loving moments with the little ones. It sometimes felt like the moment has stopped in time as we gathered around with Mickey to have a quick smile or share a cup of tea to end the day singing with Mickey Mouse and the clubhouse. Did you have some special family moments with Mickey? You can join us and submit your picture, following the rules.

Whenever we gather around to do an activity, everyone had a happy smile as if they were going on a journey in another world. How funny it is to relive those moments with your little ones. It is amazing how much we have learned with our extended family and how much fun they have provided for us at home. We surely had loads of fun as we went to dress up as Jake and his fellow pirates as well as Sofia and her tea party but we cannot forget our Doc McStuffins who take great care of the pets.

Minnie Bow Bites Party

1 pack strawberries
1 sml pack blueberries
1 pack toothpicks
1 banana

Method

You wash the berries well. Cut into triangle shapes or in halves if you wish. Next, add the strawberry with the end pointing out, add the blueberry and then the next strawberry. You do as many as you wish and is a really finger food for the kids.

The Minnie design is what you see is what you get. It is easily made. Cut all fruit in a dish and allow the kids to make their design of Minnie as they wish. Really creative activity for them to enjoy and eat as well as very healthy!

Mickey Pasta Dish

1 pack pasta or macaroni or your choice

1 diced carrots

1 pk broccoli chopped

1 can black olives

Apples

Method

Boil pasta as directions on the box. I put in the chopped broccoli and carrots before the pasta finish cooking and add the sauce.

I use apples to make the eye and tongue, yummy something sweet. I put the black olives for the hair and ear and side and eyes.

I do add some more cheese as we like the flavor of the cheddar and the more cheese the tastier.

This look nice with mashed potatoes but we wanted pasta so we did it with pasta. It sure is a great party dish for the children and elder children as well. Enjoy!!!
