Hope you all had a great weekend as we did.

Esperamos que se hayan tenido un gran fin de semana como lo hicimos nosotros.

Here is our breakfast for the weekend. This was a big breakfast or should I say brunch. This was done after our visit to mass, so was at 11 a.m.

Aquí está nuestro desayuno para el fin de semana. Esto era un desayuno grande o si digo el desayuno-almuerzo. Esto se hizo después de nuestra visita a la misa, así que fue a eso de las 11 de la mañana.

As you can see, we had scrambled eggs nicely done. We also had a nicely toast bread with peanut butter and jelly. It was really delicious. Additionally, we had our orange juice to complete the quick and easy breakfast.

Como puedes ver, tuvimos huevos revueltos bien hechos. También tuvimos una agradable tostada de pan con mantequilla de maní y jalea. Fue realmente delicioso. Además, tuvimos nuestro jugo de naranja para completar el desayuno rápido y fácil.

These ideas are not mine, I am an assistant in the kitchen but my little one makes the menu. So really, what do you think?

I enjoyed this breakfast or brunch and I am happy it falls into our topic for this week which includes peanuts. Interesting!

It's been a while that I have not done some of our nutritious snack. This is something my daughter calls her hot dog sandwich. She never cared for the hot dog and she would always get all her ingredients together and then get one of us to make her hot dog. Many found this funny since they expected a salty snack and she comes along with this banana and hotdog bread. As the time goes by this snack has begun to includes more ingredients based on the individuals taste.

Hace un tiempo que no me han hecho algunos de nuestros bocadillos nutritivos. Esto es algo que mi hija la llama su hot dog sandwich. Ella nunca quise a los perros calientes y que siempre conseguia todos sus ingredientes juntos y, a continuación, obtenga uno de nosotros para hacer su perro caliente. Muchos han encontrado este divertido, ya que ellos esperaban a un tentempié salado y ella viene junto con el plátano y perrito caliente pan. The original recipe is basic

Peanut Butter and Banana
Ingredients

1 hot dog bread
1 banana
Peanut butter

Method
Paste some peanut butter on the bread. You can either slice the banana or put it as it is and place it where you would normally place the hot dog. There you have your banana with hot dog bread! It is sooo hmmm yummy good.

Mantequilla de cacahuete o mani y plátano
Ingredientes

1 pan de perro caliente
1 plátano
Mantequilla de maní

Método

Pasta de mantequilla de maní en el pan. Puedes cortar el plátano o ponerlo como es y colocarlo donde normalmente colocarías el hot dog. Ahí tienes tu banana con pan del perrito caliente! Es bueno mmm delicioso.

As time passes, I have seen Nutella added to it, chocolate topping added as well as the chocolate sprinkles. It is really a great dessert. I like my basic banana hot dog. What would your banana hot dog contains? Enjoy!

This is a brunch for my family or an after school snack. Full of nutrition, energy and very delicious.
