Here we are with summer grilling recipes. My dad loves to cook and it is his birthday today so thinking of him will cook something he will enjoy, nice and delicious!! We enjoy tomatoes in most dishes: soups, salads, main dishes, you name it! Did you know a nice hot soup cool your hot body?

Aquí estamos, con cocinar recetas verano. Es cumpleaños de mi papá y le gusta cocinar. Pensando en el y cocinando algo que le va gustar, rico y sabroso!!!Disfrutamos los tomates en la mayoría de los platos: sopas, ensaladas, platos principales, lo que quieras! ¿Sabías que una buena sopa caliente refresca su cuerpo caliente?

Well, I am sharing a soup made with Red Gold tomatoes recipes with you. Please check out the last post with the giveaway. I received a  recipe from one of my readers that her grandmother used to make for her. Can you remember any of your favorite grandmother's recipe? Does it have tomatoes in it? Bueno, voy a compartir una deliciosas receta hecho de tomate de Red Gold contigo. Por favor revise el post anterior con el sorteo. He recibido una receta de uno de mis lectores que su abuela solía hacer por ella. ¿Puedes recordar alguna de receta de su abuela favorita? ¿Tiene tomates en él? ¿Quieres compartirlo con nosotros?

Me encantan los tomates de Red Gold, hay una gran variedad de sabores: Petite en cubitos de tomates con chiles verdes, tomates pelados enteros, tomates picados w/cebolla, apio y pimiento verde, tomates picados y chiles chipotles, rojo oro tomates enteros pelados, Red Gold picados Chili preparado con cebolla, a ver más, ver la pagina web de Red Gold Tomatoes para todos sus productos.

Tomato Soup
 Ingredients:

6 red tomatoes (peeled and seedless) or 1 can of Red Gold Whole Peeled Tomatoes
1 can Red Gold Diced Tomatoes - Basil, Garlic & Oregano
1 onion chopped
2 garlic
1 tsp
2 tsp butter
2 tsp tomato paste
2 tsp wheat flour
3 cups chicken soup
1 tsp sugar (takes out the acid from the tomato)
Sal to taste
Cream to decorate

Method

Melt the butter, and fry the cut onion slightly, the crushed cloves of garlic and the
tomatoes. When all this lightly browned, we it put into a pan, together with the chicken broth, the
basil, the salt, the sugar, the tomato paste, and we allow it to boil for 10 minutes.
Then we withdraw from the fire, put it in the blender, and strain it. We put it again in a pan and add the wheat flour, and allow to boil on slow fire without stopping stirring so that it does not have
lumps. Finally we serve it, and decorate with cream or cubes of toast. My little ones asked for cheese and cubes of toast and that's what we all did. Delicious!!

Ingredientes

6 Tomates rojos (pelados y sin semillas) o 1 lata de Tomates Pelados Enteros de Red Gold y 1 lata de Red Gold Jugó de cubitos  de tomates - Albahaca, Ajo y Orégano

1 Cebolla picada

2 Dientes de ajo

1 Cucharada de albahaca seca

2 Cucharadas de mantequilla

2 Cucharadas de pasta de tomate

2 Cucharadas de harina de trigo

3 Tazas de caldo de pollo

1 Cucharadita de azucar (para quitar la acidez del tomate)

 Sal al gusto

 Crema de leche para decorar y/o queso rayado

Preparacion

Derretimos la mantequilla, y sofreimos la cebolla picada, los dientes de ajo machacados y los 

tomates. Cuando todo este doradito, lo pasamos a una olla, junto con el caldo de pollo, la 

albahaca, la sal, el azucar, la pasta de tomate, y dejamos hervir por 10 minutos.

Luego retiramos del fuego, lo pasamos por la licuadora, y lo colamos. Lo pasamos nuevamente en una olla y agregamos la harina, y dejamos hervir a fuego lento sin dejar de revolver, para que no

se hagan grumos. Finalmente la servimos, y decoramos con crema de leche o cuadritos de pan tostado.

Es verano y estamos en Chicago! ¿Qué es lo primero que piensa cuando en Chicago y es verano?
Una de las cosas que se me viene a la mente es: "El gusto de Chicago

It has been 33 years since the Taste of Chicago free-admission festival came to life. Taste of Chicago is the largest attraction in Illinois with all types of food and fun! If you want a taste of Chicago this is the place to be. Summer is the best time to experience it all  the people, the sites , the lake , the beaches , the food and the fun times.

Han pasado 33 años desde que el festival de entrada gratuita de sabor de Chicago nacio. Sabor de Chicago es la mayor atracción en Illinois con todo tipo de comida y diversión! Si quieres un sabor de Chicago es el lugar para estar. El verano es el mejor momento para ganar la experiencia con toda la gente,  conocer los sitios, el lago, las playas, comer la comida y a gozar las diversiónes.

This year I ventured over to the Taste of Chicago on July 10 - 14th to spend the evening wining down with the people, smelling and eating the delicious food everywhere around.

Este año aventuré al Gusto de Chicago a pasar la tarde disfrutando con la gente oliendo y comiendo la comida deliciosa.

This year there were a major adjustment in the vast culinary community featured Celebrity Chef du Jour, a specially designed air-conditioned dining experience where patrons can receive a sit-down with three-course meal prepared by noted chefs such as Graham Elliot and Stephanie Izard. There were numerous food trucks, pop-ups and several booths promoting new restaurants every day.

Este año habia un ajuste importante en la vasta comunidad culinaria a Celebrity Chef du Jour, una experiencia gastronómica con aire acondicionado especialmente diseñada donde los clientes pueden recibir una reunión con tres platos preparados por chefs conocidos como Graham Elliot y Stephanie Izard. Hubo numerosos camiones de comida, pop-ups y varias cabinas de promover nuevos restaurantes todos los días.

At the taste you get the yummy smell and taste of great food ,the cold beer and great music  if you don't mind a fun crowd this place to be .I had a little taste my self , tasty pic of garlic potato ( oak street beach cafe ).

En el sabor se obtiene el delicioso olor y el sabor de la comida es estupenda, la cerveza fría y buena música si no les importa un divertido grupo este es el lugar para estar. Tenía un pequeño gusto, es  un sabroso patata de ajo. ( Oak Street Beach Cafe).

Then I fill up on a tamale and a chicken al carbon taco just a green salsa and cilantro. My fave kind I like it simple !!!

A continuación, me llene de tamale y un pollo al carbón taco con salsa verde y el cilantro. ¡Mi favorito, me gusta simple!!!

I had space for dessert, I could not go without Eli's  delicious cheese cake, yummy and a cold glass freshly squeezed lemonade.  

Yo tenía espacio para el postre, no podía ir sin un pedazo de la deliciosa tarta de queso de Eli y un frío vaso de limonada fresca. Riquisimo!

There is something for everyone , of every age ... We are all a kid at heart so enjoy !!!!!!
