When do you know a tween is ready for #responsibility? Week1 #petco

Hi all


It is almost summer and classes are out and parents have got to think outside of the box to keep the little ones busy. We all know that we need to remind the children of their responsibilities and need to make them aware that as a team everything will get done faster. Hopefully! First and foremost, we must also remember to compliment and be nice when correcting them.

Es casi verano y el año escolar está completo para este año y los padres tienen que pensar fuera de la caja para entretener a los más pequeños. Sabemos que tenemos que recordar a los niños de sus responsabilidades y los tenemos que hacer conscientes que como un equipo todo se hará más rápido. En primer lugar, como padres, tenemos que recordar también para complementar y ser agradable al corregirlos.

We have some outdoor pets - cats and knows when to visit for their food. Although, we are supposed to be allergic to cats, they are loved and cared for so hopefully the allergies will go away. They have several toys cause the children saves up and buy their toys.

Tenemos algunos animales domésticos al aire libre - gatos y sabe(conoce) cuando visitar para su comida. Aunque, se suponga que somos alérgicos a gatos, se aman y se sienten cariño tanto que con esperanza las alergias se marcharán. Tienen varia causa de juguetes que los niños ahorran y compre sus juguetes.

Some days ago, I saw a strange box in the patio. I asked where did the box came from and I was told that  it is the cat's home, not where it came from. A couple hours later, I saw a well decorated box. Here is what I saw:

Hace algunos días, vi una caja de carton muy extraña en el patio. Pregunté por qué la caja esta en el patio y me dijeron que es la nueva casa del gato. Una par de horas más tarde, vi una caja bien decorada. Aquí está lo que vi:

In Miami, school is out and we now must think how to keep our tweens busy. Although there are a couple hours of school on the schedule, the rest of the day there must be other activities to keep them active, interested and be responsible for some chores.

En Miami, las escuelas están fuera (se terminarion las clases) y ahora debemos pensar cómo entretener a nuestros adolescentes. Aunque hay un par de horas de estudios, el resto del día debe haber otras actividades para mantenerlos activos, interesado y ser responsable de algunas tareas.

I have been approached with the thought of an indoor pet which means more responsibility. Do you think tweens are ready for indoor pets?

Mi hija se me acerco sobre una mascota interior que significa mayor responsabilidad. ¿Crees que los preadolescentes están listos para mascotas interiores?

President's Day, Día del Presidente #Abraham #Day #Report

Today we celebrate Presidents' Day which is a federal holiday held on the third Monday of February. The day honors presidents of the United States, including George Washington, the USA's first president. 

Hoy celebramos el día de los presidentes que es un día de fiesta federal celebrado el tercer Lunes de febrero. El día rinde homenaje a los presidentes de los Estados Unidos, incluyendo a George Washington, primer presidente de Estados Unidos.

Most government school and work places have holidays, all public stores are open. 

Mayoría de escuela de gobierno y lugares de trabajo tienen vacaciones,  todas las tiendas públicas están abiertas.

At school we were told that we need to do a Abraham Lincoln bibliography. 

En la escuela nos dijeron que tenemos que hacer una bibliografía de Abraham Lincoln.

Abraham Lincoln is the 16th president of the U.S.A. Lincoln was elected as the president for 2 terms; he was president for 4 years and 40 days. He represented the state of Illinois and was a Republican. Lincoln had to struggle for a living doing hard labor.

Abraham Lincoln es el Presidente XVI de los Estados Unidos. El fue elegido como Presidente 2 términos; fue Presidente durante 4 años y 40 días. Representó el estado de Illinois y era un republicano. Lincoln tuvo que luchar para ganarse la vida haciendo el trabajo duro.

Lincoln's birthday is February 12, 1809. He got married to Mary Tod at the age of 33. Before Lincoln became president he split rails and worked as a clerk at a general store. Lincoln did not go to school but he learnt to read.

Los cumpleaños de Lincoln es el 12 de febrero de 1809. Se casó con Mary Tod a la edad de 33. Antes de que Lincoln se convirtió en Presidente  divide los carriles y trabajó como vendedor en un almacén general. Lincoln no entró a la escuela, pero aprendió a leer.

Lincoln was 6 ft and 4 inches (193 cm.) Lincoln's favorite foods are chicken fricassee, biscuits, oysters' stew, fruits, nuts, cheese, and crackers. Lincoln's favorite sport is wrestling. His pets were a turkey, a dog, a cat, 2 goats, some rabbits and a horse.

Lincoln fue 6 pies y 4 pulgadas (193 cm.) Comidas favoritas de Lincoln son galletas, guiso de ostras, frutas, nueces, queso y Fricasé de pollo. Deporte favorito de Lincoln es lucha libre. Sus mascotas fueron un pavo, un perro, un gato, 2 cabras, algunos conejos y un caballo.

Lincoln traveled by train, horse drawn and horse back. Lincoln communicated by letters and telegrams. Lincoln's favorite hobbies were to read and memorize poetry. There were 36 stars on the flag when he left the office. There were 31,443,321 U.S. population when his term began. Abraham Lincoln was assassinated while he was president in 1865, but no one will ever forget what he - Lincoln did ~ abolish slavery.
