Eco Nuts~~>Organic Laundry Soap #Fresh #Fluffy #Hypoallergenic #Biodegradable #Green

How are you all doing for the summer? Lots of activities and lots of laundry? I know with the kids around there are more work at home. The house is alive with activity, lots of laughter and some disagreements!

¿Cómo estan haciendo para el verano? ¿Muchas actividades y mucha lavandería? Sé que con los niños alrededor hay más trabajo en casa. ¡La casa está llena de la actividad, mucha risa y algunos desacuerdos! 


Well, I received a box with some items to review from Vitacost and one that I was very happy with was some organic laundry soap to wash those loads of laundry.  I was not very impressed when I saw some wooden balls in a box. I was really like "What is this supposed to do?" Really felt like it was a deal gone bad!

Bueno, he recibo una caja con algunos artículos para revisar de Vitacost y uno con el cual estaba muy contento era el de jabón de la lavandería orgánico para lavar aquellas cargas de la lavandería. No me impresioné cuando vi algunas pelotas de madera en una caja. Me sentí como '¿Qué es esto?' Sentí como un acuerdo se había ido mal!

 

Well, I was just as curious and got my laundry together and put them in the washing machine and away it went. I waited patiently to feel and smell the clothing. It was the longest 30 - 40 minutes I waited. Yes, I was anxious to see the result. Well, I was happy with the result. The clothing smelt fresh and it felt soft.

Bueno, era tan curioso y conseguí mi lavandería y los puse en la lavadora. Esperé con paciencia a sentir y oler la ropa. Eran los 30 - 40 más largos que esperé. Sí, estaba ansioso de ver el resultado. Bien, estaba feliz con el resultado. La ropa olió fresca y se sintió suave.

Next, was the drying, I was even more excited to find out if the softness would be there after drying. Well, I check that my wooden balls were there in the bag and put my clothing in the dryer. Well, as you know that takes about an hour. I went to do my housework and guess a post as well so I do not waste any time. I went to the laundry room to check my clothing. I decided to start folding immediately to see the result. I was definately impressed. It was soft as if I had put in softener. OH, I was very happy!!! These little wooden balls did a fabulous job. Eco Nuts are fragrance free, hypoallergic, biodegradable, non-toxic and kills odor.

Después, era secar, me emocioné aún más averiguar si la suavidad estaría allí después del secado. Bien, compruebo que las bolas de madera estaban allí en la bolsa y puse mis ropa en la secadora. Bueno, como ustedes saben que tarda aproximadamente una hora. Fui a hacer mi quehacer doméstico y supongo que un post así para que no perder tiempo. Fui a la lavandería para ver mis ropa. He decidido empezar a doblar inmediatamente para ver el resultado. Me impresionó definitivamente. Era suave como si me hubiera puesto en suavizante. OH, yo estaba muy feliz!!! Estas bolitas de madera  hicieron un trabajo fabuloso.

What are Eco-Nuts?

Eco Nuts are wild-harvested, meaning they are gathered from wild trees grown without any kind of chemicals, fertilizers, or pesticides. The saponin actually tastes bad to insects so no pesticides are needed, and the trees naturally love poor uncultivated soil. I could not wait for the next set of laundry and I tested the texture against some other laundry soap. It really stood out with some of the best. I was happy and must say, it does help with allergic reaction. There are some laundry soap I cannot use for my children as they sneeze when they put on the clothing. Eco Nuts laundry soap does not get any reaction. Am very pleased with these little wooden balls.

Yo no podía esperar para el siguiente conjunto de ropa y he probado la textura contra algún otro jabón para lavar la ropa. Lo que realmente se destacó con algunas de las mejores. Yo estaba feliz y tengo que decir que es gran ayuda porque ayuda con la reacción alérgica. Hay algunos jabón para lavar la ropa que no puedo utilizar para mis hijos, que estornude cuando ponen en la ropa. Las tuercas jabón para lavar la ropa ecológica no obtiene reacción. Estoy muy contento con estas pequeñas bolas de madera.

Eco Nuts can be bought at the Eco Nuts Store online  and some retailer stores and at a very economical price. I certainly will always have my stock at home as there will be others who are curious. You will not find any surprises with these wooden balls.These balls are from the soap tree that are related to the lychee fruit. These dried berry shells come from the tree in the Himalayan region.  Eco Nuts are reusable until they start  to disintegrate. Definately a highly effective green alternative to man-made detergents.

Seguramente siempre tendré mi reserva en casa como habrá otros que son curiosos. No encontrará ninguna sorpresa con estas pelotas de madera. Estas pelotas son del árbol de jabón que se relacionan con el lichi. Estas cáscaras de la baya secadas vienen del árbol en la región himalaya. Las Nueces de Eco son reutilizables hasta que comiencen a desintegrarse. Definately una alternativa verde muy eficaz a detergentes artificiales.

Natural Living Blog Carnival: Sleep Challenges. #GreenMOMNetwork

Welcome to the February 2013 Natural Living Blog Carnival: Addressing Sleep Challenges. I enjoy my 7 - 8 hours of sleep. I am not a sleepy head, I sleep because I need to rest so when I go to bed I sleep. It has been a while that I have been having trouble to sleep and thought I need to find an alternative place to sleep.  A couple, I needed my room to be dark with the least amount of light intruding. This was never a problem before.Whenever I am tired, I would sleep or nod off even if there is loud noise or bright lights or in any position: standing or sitting, it does not need to be in a comfortable position.

I found an alternative place and am able to sleep but decided to try another place and was also able to sleep even though there was a bit of light. I decided to look around my bedroom and found that there were various lights coming from various place which happens to be electronics such as alarm clock and a router. I decided to cover all the lights and was able to sleep.

Recently, I was reading an article and fought that electronic devices does affects your sleep. I was astonished at first but then realized that is very possible. In the room, I had many electronics device which was close to the bed. I decided to cover them with a thick cloth and that helped a great deal. It seems that any type of artificial light after going to sleep sends a wake up messages to the brain which supressed the production of sleep-inducing hormone melatonin and hence makes it harder to fall asleep and stay asleep.  It seems the light of the electronics keeps you charge long after bedtime. I do not put on any light to go to the bathroom as it takes away my sleep if I must go throughout the night. It has been noted that if I do not cover my windows completely, the sunlight will wake me up before I really intend to.

I work with computers and I cannot have any light when I am going to sleep so I make my room dark. That is a very important factor. A little exercise does help as it relaxes the body and take away stress.
Use a heavy dark curtains to keep the room dark if you have shift hours to sleep well. Hope you are able to sleep well as I am after removing some electronic items and cover the remaining items with a thick cover. Sweet dreams!
