Tween's or teen's ~>Exciting time of Life #Transformation

Hi Mommies,
Hola Mamás,
Pupa or chrysalis emerging into a beautiful butterfly.

How are you all doing? I have been thinking of how to have a nice educational conversation with some great tweens and teens at the same time informative and enjoyable. I can recall many many moons ago how a serious conversation became a very interesting conversation filled with amazing information about how our body transform from an egg/larva into a beautiful butterfly. We can also use a bud which become a blossoming rose.

Do you remember that moment in time when your parent had that talk with you about the changes transforming into a blossoming rosebud? I don't remember the whole conversation but certainly remember some really nice pointers. How was your conversation with your mom or parent. What do you remember about that conversation? Can you remember anything specific?

Was there a sequence that you remember first or should be spoken about, is there a particular order or topic to speak about with your tween or teen. I am aware that these topics are being taught to your tweens and teens in school. I believe it is good for a parent to speak to his or her child regarding this matter at home and then at school. I am aware that for some person it is preferable to let the teachers do the job and then they answers their child questions.

These are the topics I will be touching and hope I have some input from those of you who are the mommy and daddy of tweens and teens.

    1. Hi Kung Phoo,

Yes, it is a very sensitive age whereby sometimes brutally truthful can be a disaster or a wise choice. A phase in life we must confront. All the best.

It is a very phase as we go through this transition to mold them with the right foundation to make the right choices and decisions.

    1. Hi bxcrochet,

In reality, it all starts from a very young age and how we prepare them for those tween and teen years. The are able to accept and understand easily and respect our way of life. Enjoy it all!

  6. I'm still trying to figure out how to properly raise a 2 1/2 yo. I can only imagine how hard must be with a teen.

    1. Hi Petro,

Although there is not books or rules to raise a child properly. The greatest part is we make the rules and at a young age we can prepare them for the teen or tween age. Their preparation begins with the changes in life and how quickly we adapt. Their understanding of the difference in others' life and making a difference in appreciating what we have and unable to have.

  7. I had that conversation with my daughter a couple of years ago. She rolled her eyes, but she got the points. She still brings them up (though in exaggerated tone) so at least I know she was paying attention. :)

  8. I vaguely remember my mom talking to me about the changes, etc. My sons don't want me to do any of the talking with them on it, so we've done some books and their dad talking to them as well.

  9. I remember parts of a conversation my mom had with me. She forgot to explain how long a period lasts, so I was devastated when I figured out it didn't stop after a day, and that was going to happen EVERY MONTH pretty much forever. =D Got to say...glad I have a son.

    1. Hi Mama to 5,
I think it depends on the circumstances and the child but just a sensitive time in life that makes or break a teen or tween. Love is what is needed most.
