Educating Future Generation @Tobacco Summit

Hi All,

How was your day, well? Hope you weekend is great! Last weekend was the Tobacco Summit and our girl scout troop enjoyed all the activities and learned a lot with the information that was distributed. There were many organization and young groups invited. It is always a feeling of excitement in the air when there are many youths united.

The girls certainly had fun and being outdoors. The dog was amazing and well trained. We saw how obedient the dog was and they were all impressed and delighted to touch him. They enjoyed being with man's best friend.

The girls were also invited to try on the the fire man's coat. The girls thought it was funny as the coats were all so big and bulky. They all said it felt the coat made they feel important and proud to just wear the suit knowing that a fireman's job is critical and most important. We all salute the firemen for a job well done and for choosing to save our life and others.

Well, of course there was a Girl Scout Booth sharing information for parents and girls alike that are interested in joining the Girl Scout. It has loads of activities and events. It teaches the girls to become a responsible lady and citizen within the community.

There were also many other activities and organization that helps those who smoke tobacco and try to make them a healthier citizen. There were firefighters, paramedics, nurses, diabetics association and  many others giving out valuable information.

There were loads of entertainment with school children and adults association playing music, dancing and shows. There was not a single boring moment, everyone had a fabulous and educational time at the Tobacco Summit, hope to see you there next year!
