4th July Celebration Continues @ViveMejor Siguemos...

The 4th July fiesta continues as friends and family celebrates with all the World Cup Triumphs. With all the Goals, all we continue to do is eat all the enjoyable food. What is your favorite?

Caribbean Jerk Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. Caribbean Jerk seasoning blend
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb.)

Directions

  1. For marinade, combine Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise, seasoning and soy sauce. Pour marinade over chicken in large, shallow nonaluminum baking dish or plastic bag. Cover, or close bag, and marinate in refrigerator, turning occasionally, 30 minutes.
  2. Remove chicken from marinade, discarding marinade. Grill or broil chicken 12 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked, turning once.

 PATRIOTIC TEA PUNCH


Ingredients

  • 1 Knorr® Beef flavored Bouillon Cube
  • 2 Tbsp. boiling water
  • 2 Tbsp. molasses
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tsp. ground allspice
  • 1 -lb. boneless sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 can (20 oz.) drained pineapple chunks [or small pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into 1-inch chunks ]
  • 1 large green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch chunks

Directions

  1. Combine Knorr® Beef flavor Bouillon Cube and water. Add next 4 ingredients. Combine beef and bouillon mixture in a plastic bag and turn to coat. Close bag and marinate in refrigerator 2 to 24 hours.
  2. Alternately thread steak, pineapple and pepper onto skewers*. Grill or broil until steak is desired doneness.

ISLAND SPICED KABOBS

BAVARIAN WILD BERRY FRUIT-TEA POPS




Ingredients

  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 4 Lipton® Bavarian Wild Berry Pyramid Tea Bags
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup chopped strawberries

Directions

  1. Pour boiling water over Lipton® Bavarian Wild Berry Pyramid Tea Bags; cover and brew 5 minutes. Remove Tea Bags and squeeze. Stir in sugar until dissolved; let cool slightly.
  2. Combine tea with strawberries in medium bowl. Evenly pour into 8 (4-oz.) paper cups. Freeze until almost firm, about 1 hour. Insert wooden ice pop sticks into centers; freeze until firm.
  3. To serve, press firmly on bottom of paper cup to remove.
