Do you remember watching Sesame Street? Do you still look at it? Well, to be honest we do get to see it not as much as we did every day but we do get to see it. We do like the lessons that are portrayed on Sesame Street so we do enjoy them just as much as the children. 


Sesame Street is one of the most liked in our home as it is age appropriate and every show has a morale or a lesson for the kids to learn. Sesame Street recently presented Alphabet Songs and had the children learning while singing. Sesame Workshop have just released a DVD entitled: Sesame Street: Monster Manners. It is amazing how it is portrayed for the children to understand easily: manners.


It is always amazing to see how the children learn how to take turns, sharing and saying please. We all know that there is one important factor that takes us around the world: manners. I am so proud to hear the little ones with manners and showing respect to others. It does show that the home training is very effective. It makes me emotional to see a young child using his/her table manners and sharing with his/her peers. Isn't it nice to see them walking nicely in a queue and not pushing each other. It shows what they see on tv is quite as effective as what is seen in their daily lives. Thanks to Sesame Street for those really needed topics.


It is great to see that how Cookie Monster is able to show us some table manners but would he be able to join the prestigious club and control his eating habits? You've got to see the DVD to know that answer. There were several guest stars such as: David Hyde Pierce, Cobie Smulders, Henry Cavill, Zach Efron, Colbie Caillat, Common and Mark Ruffalo. It is always great to see the characters of Sesame Street show these much need skills portraying manners and respect for the individual.
